I have this plate on my 990 TT which I am selling.

I am considering selling the plate separately. Any ideas on its value ?

I'd be willing to accept £50 to take it off your hands.

Let's just say if you put that on your Porsche, you're going to get to know your local bodyshop very well.

It's a bit obscure and very 'chav'. But, there again, there's a lot of chavs around

Sorry, but that's a vile plate. I'm sure some barrowboy somewhere would pay a grand or something for it. I think I'd pay to get it off my car.

hmm - not sure about that .. I prefer bit more subtlety..

guess I was lucky that my 993 has always carried a '911' plate (ie. M 911 xxx) - Im guessing alot of new owners tried to get a 911 number ...any others on here ?

I think it's hillarious.. The problem is I think that other people take private plates quite seriously and they wouldnt see the irony.. i.e - of trying to be chavy

So you would end up with people thinking your more of a t055er than you actually are.. However in my case, I cut someone up in Camden last night and really didnt mean to. I got a load of abuse from 360 degrees worth of cars, just enforcing their opinion that P drivers are w*nkers.. Sorry everyone..

I'm not bothered one way or t'other by personalised number plates, some care crass, others fun. But I saw one the other day on a Bentley that I wasn't sure about - RIVAL - what do you think?

I wouldn't worry too much, most people understand that just avoiding the death wish pedestrians in Camden is hard enough. Also I have been cut up by every single type of car on the road, the only ones that stick out are cabbies.
