Highland bike ride with pics!

On the spur of the moment yesterday I decided to make the most of the lovely weather and lack of work to do in the office. So I grabbed my camera and set off on my bike to the Highlands!

One of my favourite roads is called the A93 and the best part runs just north of Blairgowrie to Braemar. If you want to take a further trip, head to Tomintoul!

All I can say is the sun was shining, the roads were pretty much empty and it was one of the best drives/rides of my life.

You might recognise some of the locations from my previous photographs. The good thing is that every day the light is different, well make that every 5 minutes!

So a 200 mile round trip ride from Edinburgh later and I was totally knackered but had one hell of a grin on my face!

Oh wow.

Touring again up there this summer and that has really got me all excited again.

Fantastic roads and stunning scenery.

Just bought the last of the line! Got it for a good price - just loved the bike on the test ride - felt perfect! It's a great first big bike for me to be honest!

Would love one of these but it will have to wait until I get some miles under my belt!
