Hearing it pop and crackle up the road without me in the driving seat was a bit of a struggle, but I'm pleased to be moving on (as soon as I find the right Tuscan evil). Don't think you'll have any problems with it Lee, as it never gave me grief. Enjoy!

Just had to pop out in my temporary replacement - VW Polo. oh dear.

Yep, get me back no worries, only slight concern I have is the oil pressure gauge, as it sometimes goes below o!!!!! But the light does not come on, so will check it out at some stage, yet it runs fine..the joys of a TVR!

Oil gauge sits low when you're waiting in traffic, but that seems to be a quirk of the gauge rather than anything sinister going on, as it's never been an issue in the time I owned the car. Mind you, as everyone would advise, it's a good idea to keep an eye on all gauges all the time! Got to pop out in the Polo again now. Groan!

Just out of interest do you now what oil was put in it for it's last service?

No, sorry. I used Top Cats for the first time for the last service, so you could give them a call (or somebody on here will tell you). Mobil 1 is what many people recommend, and I believe David Batty (who I used previously for servicing) used Castrol GTX Magnatec, though I might be wrong!
