I belive it goes somthing like this in the handbook:-

First 250 miles vary the engine speed although not more than 3K RPM and avoid constant speeds, after that occasional excersions up to 4K RPM are OK as it helps bed the piston rings in.After 1000 mile service you can then gradually increase the engine revs.

One very important item is alway warm up the engine carefully < 3K RPM until both water and oil are at normal operating temperature ie water 80 Deg.C and oil 60 Deg.C

Advice I was given today when I picked mine up is to keep revs below 2500 until the engine is warm, and then for the first 600-700 miles keep below 3500. After this, you can have very quick bursts up to 4000, but the main thing is to avoid labouring the engine.

Also, don't keep it at a constant speed, so if you're cruising, make sure you vary the speed.

There is a rev counter - it's actually shown on a couple of the dash display screens, and you can select a screen which just displays revs.

Yep - that's it!

Or if you find it trying to dig up a road or something!
