Headed back from Edinburgh into Fife last Thursday. Was caught in slow traffic for a while up to the bridge, but after that was open motorway right to my exit. Opened the car up and as I was coming off the slip road smoke started coming into the car. Not a huge amount but enough to cause a fright! It appeared to come from under the shelf on the passenger side though not 100% on that (just appeared that way in the second or too it was there). Dropped the revs and drove it slowly back home. Nothing else happened, car was running at perfect temp, had checked the oil and coolant the day before and both were fine (although oil was slightly over max mark, had recently topped it up). Any ideas what it was ? Anything I should check out or look for ?

Last year I had smoke coming from the heater vents on the dash. Turned out I had a slight leak from the heater matrix. Sounds like it could have come from the passenger footwell vent which could point to the same problem. Hope this helps.
Cheers for that, at least it gives me something to look for :-)

air con? a common side effect with the T350 apparently
The air con was switched on, smoke from that maybe ?
when going for a run in my friends T350 it streamed into the cab through vents when the car was hot. I screamed "dude your cars on fire" turned out its quite common!
May very well be the cause

It's just condensation from the air con, nothing to worry about, but it did give me a shock the first time it happened. Gave Toobin a hell of a scare too
