Last couple of times I've been out in the Cerb I've heared what can only be described as a clicking noise, coming from outside the car on the rear passenger side. The noise gets quicker with speed, to the point that over about 40mph it is too fast to hear. It only starts to make this noise after I have been driving for half an hour or so. At slow speeds it's very apparent, with or without the clutch engaged. The only time it stops is wihile braking.

Anyone got anyideas??

Okay, the obvious first - stone in the tyre. Then possibly a worn UJ.

I've got a similar problem with mine at the moment.

Pads moving in the calipers, nothing to worry about.

You can either live with it or remove the pads and put some high temp sealant on the back of each pad to bond it to the piston.

Checked the tyres and nothing seems wrong there. UJ? Weird the way it only happens once the car is warm though. Maybe something to do with the brakes?

As extra 300 driver says...it'll be your rear pads rattling. Nothin to worry about.

From the noise you can tell it's definitely something connected with the rotation of the wheel rather than a rattle. As in it's at regular intervals, increasesing in frequency as the car increases speed. Could this still be the pads?

Rear pads rattling - mine do it also.

The cars going in for a service next week - I might get thm to change the rear pads then to also help stop the squeeling.

Rear pads.apply a bit of silicon to the back of the pad. That should cure the problem.
