About £200 for the wheel. You'll be better off asking at a Zoo for the latter.

I'd try a car with one fitted before you commit... VERY different to a "normal" one...

Not found that to be an issue personally... it's just the fact that they transmit vibrations so much... there's no damping (as you'd get with leather). Ask Shnozz; he's gone from a wooden jobbie to a leather one.

Wood makes a crips packet feel like a six inch pothole...

I've fitted the genuine wooden Personal version to mine , no problem with feel but it's the look of the interior that is the transformation , I've got a biscuit/walnut interior , looks the dog's danglies now , the black wheel looked totally out of place , go for it.

How about a pic of your interior then Corin? I've been toying with the thought of a wooden rim as the rim and column are the only black bits left and they do look out of place. I have a wood fascia Pioneer so a wood wheel would be in keeping, bit I'd love to see one installed.

What about a Leven alloy one to match the alloy stalks, buttons, dash, knobs, handbrake, pedals, etc.

Corin, if you e-mail the pic files to me I will add to an album I have on Fotango alowing it to be viewed here. When I get time!

Or go to Fotango.com and feel your way from there (like I did)!

Cheers,

I fitted a Momo fighter to my wedge. Found it to be asn excellent compromise with the leather grippy bits at the 9 & 3 positions, wood elsewhere.

sorry, bit late to this thread. Personally, I love the look of the wood wheels but much prefer the feel of the leather ones. My wood wheel was also fairly skinny, which i dont think helped.

If anyone wants it, i will stick it in the classifieds.
