Standard Spec brakes/Tyres on RS6

Hi,

I am seriously considering an RS6 saloon as the family car and have had one out for a test ride - the dealer has 2 of them a 2004 & a 2003. I noticed that the 2003 one has plain disks with Michelin Pilot tyres on whereas the 2004 one has drilled disks front & rear with Pirelli Pzero tyres. Are these standard fitment for the MY of the cars?

the drilled disks were an optional upgrade

the std tyres were Pirelli, but most people go Michelin afterwards

whichever disks it has, make sure they are nearly new - they last about 20K miles on the front and a set of discs (drilled) n pads from a dealer is about £1100 fitted
