tricky mirrors

Just built up my mirrors and installed same now the problems start. they move in and out ok but when I try to move them up or down only the drivers one moves and very slowly. A relay in the drivers door operates when I try to move them up or down, changed the relay in case but no better, any ideas guys? John.

Did I send you a wiring diagram? Test the motors by firing 12v straight at them in both directions - it may even free up rusty motors if you are lucky (sounds like they may have been retired for a while )

I put 12v direct to the l.h. one and it worked ok. I will do the same for the drivers one tomorrow. I had a look at the diagram in the bible but its beyond me to follow it. Does sound like its losing voltage in the up/down mode which I guess is via the relay, thanks Spend.
