Quoted £417 to insure an X5 4.4

Sort of considering a daliance with an X5 - new family transport required for not many miles per year so I figure the big petrol costs are more than offest by how much money the 4.4. seems to be losing.

Anyway, had an initial quote for insurance for me and wife of £417 per year. 8000 miles per year, no claims or points, driveway parking in low risk area. Option to use for business is I need it.

This surprised me as I expected it to be more. Any views on this - good, bad, average ?
