Time for some new cambelts so over to Bob Houghton Ferrari, formerly the workshop side of the MHT dealership. As fellow visitors will know, approaching the unremarkable ageing wooden fence doesn't really give much of a clue...

...then you drive in...

For those who haven't had the pleasure of wandering around BHF, inside from time to time are a couple of 250 GTOs including Mr Mason's - they say two GTOs is the insurance limit - plus various 288s alongside Schuey's 99 F1 car that the factory 'let' the owner buy from them with an alleged price tag of £2 million.

Just a mobile phone so pic quality not high.

Been there a few times. Amazing place.

Their current advert in Octane is good. 9 F40's parked next to an F50 with a 288 GTO in the foreground.

Update - not so much time in the candy store this time but there's always quality in the quantity.

Another F40 inside the workshop had reg F40 FER, nice. And that is a 365 (?) not so many around after some 40 years.

Was the one off designed around a Testarossa there?

I will have to dig out the pics. Looked really good and had apparently been given the blessing from the honcho's at Maranello

Didn't see it today, but have done in the past - including the ages it spent under a cover before completion. Sure is different!

Hi there,

Do you mean this one: -

If so this was on display at the Ferrari Owners Club event last year. It really is a stunning car in the flesh and very individual.

Regards

Tim

That looks like it - the overall effect is favourable though some of the detail is fussy, but from discussions at BHF there was a CAD stage where function won out over form in some aspects.
