Hi
I usually post on another forum but am going for a test drive on Friday and could be switching over to this one soon!
I wonder if you could help me with a couple of quick questions I have. Firstly once the supply issue with the new engine settles down (not sure how long that's likely to be?) how much is this model likely to depreciate. Reason for asking is ideally I'd like to wait for them to lose a few k's and buy a six month old one but seems like I could have a long wait...

Havent heard anything about a supply issue. But expect prices to remain high. Its had rave reviews.Ive driven one and it exceeded my expectations so much, that i thought there was no need to buy a petrol one.Infact LR must have thought the same because the 4.4 petol has now been dropped from the range. You will only be able to buy the TDV8 or SC versions.
Took delivery of my TDV8 RR Sport 2 weeks ago and its superb. Depreciation will be fairly low due to current demand being v high and limited supply at the moment. Also there are loads of the Tdv6 out there, that said they are still performing well in terms of re-sale prices. I think its definatly worth stretching the extra £7k to get one.
Went out in one the other day and LOVED IT! You can get one ASAP if you look for a just registered (my dealer had one hence the test drive). The wait is that bad July, I was told if I ordered now. As for depreciation, if you keep it 18months probably not too bad, but expect after 3yrs 36k it will lose 50%, just like any other car. If you worry about losing the money, you can't afford it!
