Painting rear chassis bars.

Fella's,

I have just removed my diffuser as I am renewing the heat shielding mat. Whilst it was off I could see that some of the rear bars have surface corrosion on them, especially around the most extreme heat source's.

Can any one give me an idea of the best thing to paint them with is once they are cleaned up?

what are you using for he heatsheild. std factory replacement or something better?

Also check out Tony Van's - he took his off, licked it clean and added heat-shield
