Chaps,

Abit of help required please.

I was rear ended in my 3 series in September last year and suffered whiplash and a lower back problem.

I have been having physio and MRI scans etc for months and have held off claiming (you can claim up to 2 years) until the extent of my injuries are clear. I am thinking about starting a compensation claim and am confused about which route to take, I would also appreciate any recommendations for legal help.

As far as I can see I have the following options:

1) deal direct with the other drivers Insurance Company, this it would appear save the Insurance Company my legal fees and may result in an out of court settlement. Not sure that I would extract the best settlement though?

2) use a no win no fee company, admittedly not my most favoured route

3) I was approached by a company that was provided to me by the insurance policy? that paid for my replacement vehicle (Merc E class), they farm it out to a specialist compensation company

4) My family group of Solicitors has a Compensation Specialist, I spoke to him at the time and he said he could act for me but that I would be responsible for his fee's should I lose?

Any help appreciated

Stu

PM me. I work in the litigation industry and can put you in touch with a decent solicitor who will persue your claim on a Conditional Fee Agreement basis.

Limitation for personal injury claims is three years from the date of the accident unless you were under 18 at the time of the accident (which i doubt....)

Hey, I was going to say "no wonder you need a TT to keep up with those ambulances", but then I thought that might be a little mean...
