Actual numbers made - any ideas from anyone?

Given that it's the end of the road for the M12 and M400 now, can anyone help me tie down the actual numbers of each model produced by the factory, or is there anywhere I could refer to to get this information? I own a July 2005 M400 and am interested as to how rare (or otherwise) it actually is, and always will be!

There is another post somewhere on this try a search. However, as you own an M400 I can tell you that mine appears to be the last produced in the UK and is number 240. Now I'm not sure if the 3R and M400 numbers are mixed and simply run together so I can't really say from my number how many there are. The other post had some discussion on this and the numbering of the original cars.

Thanks again Guys. Just so you know, and if it helps the research case, I currently own an M400 registered in July 2005, with ID no 3R172. My previous May 2005 registered M12GTO3R, was 3R146. Last I saw of this was that it was still for sale at Peter Smith Sportscars in Hatton nr. Derby. Both the above are larch silver models.

I'll now wade through the posts and see how many M400's actually were released in the UK!

Thanks Ash - 240, that's the number I was looking for. If you can feel better about owning an M400 I just feel better! Rarity in addition to supreme performance, you just can't beat it (as long as the factory are as good as their word and maintain the spares line for the series).
