2003 model. I'm just interested in know faults really.

I hear the rear damper is too firm for road use but with any luck I can find one with a good after market one already fitted.

I have one and it is a fantastic bike. Yes the set up is hard and the steering twitchy, but it isn't significantly worse than my old GSXR 600. I have to say I was sold on the styling and the engine. It pulls like a train from 6k and makes the most fantastic induction noise. Mine has been totally reliable to date (apart from battery issues through lack of use).

I also think they represent great value 2nd hand when compared to R6's and GSXR's.

The '03 Ninja was as mad a bike as you could buy, and still is. So I would definitely consider buying one!!!

Really good bike.

Not sure but there was talk of the shock linkage being to long/short, resulting in the shock not able to use it's full range.

of course i might be wrong. could have been the 750 Kwacker,or any other one

No definitely not. But I did break the engine in mine 4 times but at £300 an engine, easy to fix and great fun.

Can't and won't get rid of it!
