Maserati launch GranTurismo web site

Everything you wanted to know about the new coupe

Maserati now has a dedicated web site for its new GranTurismo. All the usual features you’d expect in a multi-media age are present – sounds, pictures, info - and although the full car configurator won’t be up and running until June, you can still choose your colour at the moment. Click on the link below to go to the site.

No prices though. I'm desparate to know what it's going to cost. BMW have hiked that M3's price so much for the E92 that the Maser could be its competition... not that the decision would be a hard one hehe

Strangely I thought the vidoes on the website made it look a bit plain and chunky, not how I expected. Maybe just because it was raining? Look forward to seeing one in the flesh.

It's going to be priced somewhere north of £70k so it's not a competitor for the M3 at all really, not based on price anyway. It's also a much larger car than the M3 and is only a foot shorter than the quattroporte apparently.

Am I the only one that thought of an upside-down Ford S-MAX when I saw the back of this?

Let's face it, everyone will get excited about this for five minutes and then it'll disappear into obscurity like every other Maser for the last 20 years...

The minute anyone tries to drive it away in the UK it will automatically look worse with the addition of the front number plate spoiling the view

I have the picture of the blue car parked in front of uptown New York, i thought seeing as i live here and i want one, it was very apt.

Sexy car though, one of my colleagues loves Masers and has one on order apparently, chopping in his Quattroporte.

yeah right...

Agree with an earlier reply... the website is not new, it was 'new' when the car was first announced... Good old Maserati press office, convincing the hacks to write another story about the new GT!!!

Also agree, the vids are a tad dissappointing - you'd have though they could have chosen a sunny day in Italy.. Still very much taken with the car.... can't wait to see one in the flesh and drive it in comparison to my current (apparantly in oscurity) Coupe...

Been saying that since the very first shots were released. I am not convinced until I have seen that.

They are making bold claims about their plans for reliability. Lots of noise trying to convince people this is an 'every day' option - like the 911. Would be nice to think.

Looks great but is far too heavy. Same power to weight ratio from 60bhp and £30k less S5.

LOL... Back end of an S-max, front of a Mondeo, and if you look at the drawings on the website they use a (all be it six- instead of five-spoke) wheel as on the RS/S-Max Sports Line.
