Hi all,

I'm hoping to organise a trip to the 2008 Monaco Grand Prix.

Does anyone know what date this is due to be held on, and any good contacts for tickets.

I've had a look on the F1 website and they are only selling tickets for 2007 at the moment so assume they are not on sale for a while yet, and I also can't see any calender for the 2008 season.

I want to get it organised ASAP as I guess I will at least need to try and book a hotel even if I can't purchase tickets yet, although my guess is they may already be fully booked years in advance.

Anyone with experience of this GP with any hints or tips or advice, I'd love to hear.

Many Thanks.

Paul.

Next years F1 calendar won't be released until towards the end of this season (sept/oct time). So you will need to wait until then unfortunatley.

For tickets - get them direct from the Automobile Club De Monaco.

I was looking to go this year and stop in Antibes or such like and get the train in - but due to other commitments it's not happening

Will try next year though!!!

thanks for the link Chris that's great.

I'ce found a website that quotes 22-25 May 2008 so I might take a gamble on trying to book a hotel for that weekend even if it isn't confirmed yet..

The Monaco GP is always coincides with some religious date - hence the Friday is always off

24 to 27 May 2007
22 to 25 May 2008
21 to 24 May 2009
20 to 23 May 2010

try page and moy, used them before, excellent service.

however, staying in any of the hotels in monaco that over look the circuit, (monte carlo grande, mirabeau, hotel de paris etc), aint cheap at the best of times, and the prices go up nearly ten fold during the GP.

good luck.

Thanks for the tip frazer, I'll give them a try.

I think it's only realistic to expect to travel to the track, I've heard about some stupidly high room charges near the track.

Thanks.
