What are they off ? Granada ?

Can you get complete unit with drive shafts ?

I kow there is an upratd drive shaft as well ?

I've had a bit of search about and I can't find a part number or real answer to this and most of the TVR parts specialists seem to want to charge 40% more than I could get tuff for with the knowledge above .... Can sort/find/resolve most, but this is proving elusive ...

If your after uprated drive shafts there is the GNK motor sport ones, but their fairly expensive, there are also uprated labro CV joints, and if you after meatier cv shafts check out the ultima forum a couple of guys have made some.
The standard drive shafts can take a fair amount of abuse,CV joints and CV shafts,(we are makeing uprated granada cv shafts in our winter if anyone is interested) are at their limit with 500hp,so unless you going crazy on engine upgrades, the standard gear is more than adequate.

I can honestly say I am not any nearer to identifying the exact source of these CV joints and one ex main dealer I spoke to said I have to buy the complete unit with driveshafts.

I don't mind doing this and did so with my S, but I do want to know what they are off so I can compare cost versus aggravation.

Haven't got them in my hand which doesn't help, but will have this weekend.

I am told now it is a Ford part that has to be machined ?

I've been quoted £128+ for each CV joint for brand new, and £75+ for exchange items.

I'm gonna get one side off the car on Saturday and then try it with some guys I know in Noriwch...

Mate,it's a GKN part, used in various cars, including Holden some of the bigger BMW's,and Granada, they do not have to be machined.

Mate, thanks

Seriously though, once I have the part number I will supply it to the TGP Alterntive parts list, as this is nonsense.
