Quote needed for website build.
Discussion
Hi, I am currently in th process of having our website updated and all the design work has been done, all pages are in Adobe for referance. What we now need is the design converted to HTML etc. I have had a couple of quotes so far, which are worlds apart in terms of cost. If any one is interested in quoting or knows of a good quality/value company feel free to PM me through my profile.
Cheers

Also looking for a datbase designer...

MSSQL or MySQL or Postgres or <insert a.n.other>

Not sure, would leave that up to the designer...Just doing the specs at the mo,would need to be easy for anybody to use and not f*ck up, Mainly a personel db linked to a job sheet in turn linked to payroll (we employ a large no. of people but only on a daily basis). Maybe to be used online at some point.
Pm me if that sounds your thing.

Do enlighten us with the final cost and the number of pages....
Likely I'll be looking for someone to redo a web application I've wrtitten if I get the contract on Monday.
I'm piss poor at web development. In fact I fcuking hate it, but I've kncoked up about 15 pages 99% of which is laid out with CSS, then I got fed up with it not working in IE and started injecting over-riding CSS into the HTML (go on slap me)
All the JavaScript, PHP and SQL is done but it needs someone who is good with GUIs to fix up the Pigeon Hated Verdana, and choose some colours and give it a brand image....
So do I need a Graphic Designer or a Web Developer?
I'd be very interested to get some quotes for reworking the site. I guess it would be a case of taking one page and then allowing people to rework it, taking a look at the finished results and picking the one I like.
Don't wanna talk cash just yet because I am so out of the loop in terms of what site developers charge these days.

Thanks Jamie,
As I said, it depends if we get the sale on Monday. I'll be in London that evening if you fancy a swift pint or two. Won't be anything like the last session though - I have an evening flight.
How's the Middleton Rare going? All gone yet?

the Very Rare has pride of place in my 'get pissed quick' cabinet
It's still sealed .. not had a 'special enough' occasion for it yet
You'll have to come over to the new place and enjoy a snipple!
Always up for a repeat of last time gimme a bell when you're over
