Hi all,

Anyone know how I can arrange a factory visit in May? I didn't buy my car from a main dealer so can't go down that route.. any ideas greatly appreciated!

"In order to ensure that a tour is waiting for you once you park your Ferrari in Maranello, you'll likely have to talk to your local Ferrari dealership. The carmaker's brass often restricts factory tours to dealers and their guests, which means that you'll have to have a good relationship with your dealer in order to convince him to arrange a visit and let you tag along"

Your best bet is to go on a organised tour, i think theres at least a couple of groups going for a factory visit this summer (aren't furball going?) - usually they are more amenable to a larger group of individuals with ferraris going on a tour, obviously due to demand individual visits are almost impossible unless you have a Enzo, F40 or F50 or probably all three or more donkeys in your stables. Your only really hope is to find an official tour, pester your dealer or FOCUK or one of the other group tours to join in.

or buy an FXX for 2 Million Euros. then you get your own desk there by all accounts and can towel-whip a certain mr schumacher in the showers at fiorano.

Thats why you should have bought a lambo, before i put in my order i suggested i might not have the driving skills to match my LP, the dealer said "don't worry about that, when your cars built we can organise for you to go and collect it and take some driving lessons with Valentino".

But then for real exclusivity you need to buy a zonda or a koenigsegg, buy one of those and you can probably get Horacio and Christian to turn up to your family bar-be-que's if you ask them nicely!

Brian

the Factory do organise tours directly, it's worth giving them a call to see if they have any English speaking tours on while you are there.
