GT3 AT HATFIELD
Discussion
Anyone know anything about the red GT3 at Hatfield OPC?
It looks nice, and well priced (beings with a "4"....) but when I called the salesman told me it has "been repaired." Fair play to him for being clear with me, BUT
Then it dawned on me that I saw a video on YouTube of a red GT3 rolling in the kittylitter at the Ring...
Is it the same car??

was the youtube car definitely RHD?
Don't know.
The guy was refreshingly clear - said the car has been "previously repaired and was not recorded."
Can't be many red GT3s around can there?
If it's had a parking ding I ain't bothered, but if it's had a reshell I'll be leaving it well alone..... The one that got rolled in the video was fvcked.

IKWYM - not worth it
true enough but I'm surprised it's not been recorded, leaves the door open to some unsavoury activity...

Hmmmm.
He just said that - "it's had an accident but been repaired. I'm duty bound to tell you. It's not recorded though."
Would it be recorded if it was rolled on track and reshelled by OPC?
if it's either been done at the owner's expense or by the insurer (if it's less than 50% value of the car) then no
only goes on the register if it's been financially written off or classed as a total loss by the insurer
then you get the different classification - A, B, C and D

Hard to tell but right at the end (when they flip it back) you can see that its a LHD - hope he was insured..!

Never mind the COLOUR! If it goes and handles like this then i think i finally realise the HYPE around these cars!

Great, so it's not the rolled car.
I'll go and see it and report back!!
Something about a red GT3...
Go for it - looks fantastic.
Anything else I need to be careful of, except for checking the previous damage and getting an over-rev report from the ECU?
Take NO money with you, as it could be an expensive visit.
Looks lovely in red mate....

Otherwise known as "p0rnstar arsehole red."
It's a "colour to sample" option I gather......
