update on cooling pipe problem/mot emissions fail

Hi guys just an update on the 2 problems i had. First the coolant pipe problem. I managed to get a piece of stainless steel, welded the correct size t.piece on to hold the otter switch, and MOST IMPORTANT flared all the ends of the top and bottom pipes. This when the hoses are fitted now stops any of the hoses blowing off. the cooling system on the s series runs under quite a bit of pressure as i found to my cost. Now the mot fail on the emissions. On the top of the two air flow meters,just at the point where the 2 hoses are connected,there are 2 allen screws. I have been reliably told that these can be adjusted,which will alter the emissions.Just need to take the car to alocal garage, pop the exhaust gas analyzer in and alter the 2 screws EQUALLY.
