Evening Gents,

I've got a boring one for you all, after 1300 miles in 36 hours, my new 997 C4s cab performed brilliantly, got me from Chassagne-Montrachet this morning with 5 cases of vino and back to London with no probs (I'm a few Euro's lighter due to the Gendarmes liotering around the 'peage' 5kms from Calais - be warned .....HOWEVER...

As you can imagine, the windscreen and entire front of the car is covered in little French flies, so I pulled over at Folkstone services and used the window cleaner / bucket combo at the Esso garage as you leave the Eurotunnel - BE WARNED - the bugger has left tiny (but clearly visible) scratches all over my bloody windscreen, it musy have had a sharp edge on it that I didn't see.

1. Does nayone know od any product that can remove small scratches from windscreens?

2.Failing that, will the fact that the car has rain sensitive wipers (I assume the screen has an element running through it) make replacement hugely expensive to replace?

3. France is much nicer to drive in that the UK, I've never seen more idiots (mostly blue tooth ear piece wearers) than tonight in London.

HELP!!!

Agree with the above regarding Jewellers Rouge - HOWEVER it will take hours and hours (no kidding) of constant rubbing to sort and even then it wont be 100%

The other option is to call your insurance company and get the screen replaced - it'll cost you 50 quid excess - a much easier and less time consuming option!!
