speed 6 de-cat

just curious really. mines been done, looks like its been done by ripping the guts out of the cats. complicated looking ones these 3 welded pipes into each cat and 1 pipe out of each. is this the accepted method of de-catting an s6 or is there a different manifold/downpipe avalable
