I posted here a few months back, apparently Belgium outfit do them although all GT3 owners denied any radiator stones/leaks, Cup Car has them....
I bought them from Carnewal in belgium, had them sprayed, and then spoke to OPC Colchester about fitting BECAUSE of stones hitting rads', they checked with Reading and said not to fit as might make car run hotter, also he was not aware of damage but will look next time he gets one in. I think it is a problem that can only get worse, warrenty will not cover damage but will if corroded. There must be a few 997 owbers who think the same about this and I have only done 1700 miles.

I did wonder if it might affect running temp, especially since only one of the radiators has a fan on the GT3.
However as they say it 'might' affect things, have you thought about sticking them on temporarily with the car stationary on a hot day, and see if they do actually affect the temp ??
I saw a photo of a couple of Cup cars somewhere with tape over half the grills indicating I guess that too much air was getting it !! Granted they're not usually stationary for very long.
TBH, i have purchased some but they are going to look completely crap fitted IMHO. The quality is absolutely shocking as well so they are going back monday. I should say that the items i have purchased are NOT from Carnewal.
I am really concerned about the exposed nature of the rads, particularly on higher speed runs, say in Germany for instance.
For what its worth, there is no way that mesh of this size/ gauge will restrict the air flow into the rads - that is complete BS and as someone has pointed out the cup cars all run with them fitted.
Looks like there is an opportunity for someone to make some nice quality, easy to fit grills which do not involve drilling the car and they will make a killing,

I had mine fabricated for my C2 after I had a stone hit the centre rad and I can confirm that they have no effect whatsoever on running temp.
The indy who did the job said it must be stainless mesh as ally is likely to bend and if you paint it it will chip. He used stainless on mine and I didn't bother with painting. The stainless was actually a nice contrast to the Ocean Blue and aprt from being practical it also gave the front a nice agressive look.
Has the added advantage of keeping all the crap out of your rads. You'll be amazed what comes out when you look in there.
