On my way to the office this morning ended up driving with probably the most gorgeous Ferrari I've seen/heard. Managed to overtake it on Park Lane but have no idea what it was.

The car was definitely front engined LHD coupe, double-twin exhausts, single rear light clusters and had two 'scoops' along the roof. Was dark blue body with a silver top. No markings anywhere apart from a tiny yellow Ferrari badge on the front and the letter Z just in front of the doors.

Best way I can describe it is as a classic version of the 599 (same shape). This thing was immaculate and looked like it was driven straight out of a museum - quite literally stopped traffic.

I just checked the registration plate on RAC (sounds like a stalker I know...) and it came back as a 3 litre 1958 Ferrari. Tried googling but can't find it.

Anyone know what it was?? Beautiful... cloud9

It's a Zagato bodied 250 I think, on it's way to the Ferrari 60th Anniversary meet at St James Square (see spotted thread).

Yes, very rare!

Zagato did one but it was 1956.

There was another one off 250 in blue but I think it is in the US and for some reason I cannot remember details.
