I have undone the six hex bolts on the top and can lift it up, but the stepper motor housing catches on the scuttle. I can't move the plenum forward as it catches on the internal trumpets. The stepper motor housing is bolted in from the back, so the body work is in the way to undo it. So how do you take it off.

Yes I have undone all the pipes, it just seems to get stuck between the scuttle and the trumpets.

Do you mean the scuttle - or the ~bendy~ bit of grill?

I have an idea that you need to bend the metal grill up slightly on the Chim to get enough clearance to get the plenum over the trumpets.

Oops, too slow!

Don't forget to use sealant when you put it back on.

Sorry, I just assume everyone is as incompetent as me.
