Dear Friends,
I have been thinking in buying a lotus esprit for a while now. I just don't know where to find or how to get it. I know all of you guys like your cars and take really good care of them, so i would like to know if someone in the list is selling his or her car, or if you now someone else. I am looking for a 1990 or 1991 SE ( I can't afford a S4).

And also i would like to know where can i get the maintenance and service manuals for this car. I am a mechanical engineer and have skill working with turbines and engines. I am not familiar with other the components of this car. I am planning to do the light maintenace myself and let the serious things for the dealer.

I would really appreciate if someone can help me here!

Thank you guys!

Being in Miami you're in decent shape for access to Lotus dealers. I'm up in Palm Beach county and use PalmBeach MotorCars for Lotus service. In Coral Gables there is "The Collection" and "Prestige Imports" is in North Miami.

As for finding a car, you can try several online sources:

www.classifieds2000.com
www.cars.com
plus others

and also try visiting the dealer websites linked from www.lotuscars.com

Well, I have an '89 (non-chargecooled) for sale, if you're interested. I also already have the manuals for it, and from personal experience, it's not a hard car to work on (my last job was working on aircraft, and i have a physics degree). As for getting the manuals www.books4cars.com or just call up LCU.
