Hi Edt,

I posted this link a few weeks ago....

www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?t=369884&f=9&h=0

I checked the link and they're still listed at £29.

Mine have the gliter finish the same as Spiders, asume they have been refurbed, bit of a problem for the centers of which two need doing.

I bought a set of these on eBay - they come in black plastic and are kinda ok, nothing special. I've not had them painted yet as I've only had one quote, yesterday, from a Chipsaway guy at £20 EACH eek that's £80 the set yikes . You can guess what I told him censored . So I've got a few more sprayers to get round before I go for it.

Just take one of the old ones into Halfords and get them to match it in a spray can, grab some clear top cote and do it yourself circa £15. Having looked at mine again, the covers are just plain silver without the "glitter" effect on the rims, I didn’t even notice so I will be doing my own. Did they come with the badges separate?

Needs more than just silver paint if the paint is to stick for any length of time. I was prepared to pay £40 if the job was done properly and today I've found just such a paintshop (Bentley approved) who will - clean/prep the surface, paint with plastic primer, 2 coats matched silver, finish with lacquer for £40 so they've got the work. thumbup

Yep, the badges are supplied and are separate so can be stuck on after painting.
