First shot at underwater photography!

Excuse the pun in the title, but I had my first attempt at underwater photography a few days ago. I dove a wreck yesterday, too. I didn't realise there were waterproof cases for digital cameras, so I'll certainly be investing in one for my Canon when I return home!
As it happened, I had to rent the dive centre's camera (an Olypmus 6 megapixel).
What do you think for a first try? Are there any extra rules to underwater photography, for this novice photographer?
