Size V G27

Hi all, question is will I fit in a G27?

Some time ago I had a short drive in a G27.. loved it, decided to ditch the TVR S as a result. This week I went to view a G27 and didnt fit, not even close. Im 6ft" 4inch and slim(ish... 13.5/14 stone) and knew it would be tight especially as it had a seat padded with foam behind for the current smaller driver but... not even close!
So, now Im wandering why I fitted the original and not this, advice please guys;
Will i fit in a Standard G27? Im happy to replace seats e.g. GRP or simple floor pad & back pad, but is there any point me continuing the search?

It might be tricky. I'm 6'2'' and it was a tight fit in my G27 I seem to remember a while back. Even now I'm a snug fit in my G33 and thats supposed to be bigger !! My left knee is close to the dashboard and I'm just under the line of the windscreen. I suggest you try another one before giving up. Some will have seat runners but you can always take them out and bolt the seat straight to the floor to give a little extra space and height.

Thanks SimonB9, Im off to Stoneleigh ove rthe BH weekend so maybe get to try some for size there!

Seems like your fellow owners are reluctant to give me the benefit of their experience Is it always this quiet on the PH Ginetta forum or is there a more focused G forum elsewhere? Or it could be that its been a glorious weekend and everyones been out enjoyiong their cars

Forgot about Stonleigh.........I think the Ginetta Owners Club have their AGM there so there should be a few cars if you go on the first day. It is quiet in here thats for sure !! Every so often people wander by and leave their comments but not often.......
There is a dedicated forum for G33 owners but not much use if you're only interested in G27's.

Last year trhere were 4 or 5 G27's. I aim to be there with my G33. You can try that for size if you like. I amn 6ft, and the G33 is only just big enough for me.

there is sime extended bits & pieces available from fereday cars for lard arse size seats & stuff maybe that one you sat in had a few of those bits ? - i'm 6' & 13.5-15 stone depending on how many dumps i've had that week & i fit in my 27 fairly well - there isnt much seat padding about 2" ???
