Headroom in Ferrari's
Discussion
Hi
Having always wanted a ferrari I'm now in the very fortunate position where I can (just about) afford one. However being 6ft 5 I'm concerned that I wont be able to sit comfortably upright in one, is this going to be a problem? do any models offer more room than others?
Thanks in advance.

In rough order,
612 Scaglietti, probably the most
456 GT
550/575M
all the 348/355 are a tight fit for anyone much over 6", 360 and 430 are a slight improvement, but your best bet is get a 355/360/430 spider and leave the roof down. 10 million miles of headroom
clarkson is 6"5 isnt he? he seems to fit in everything, although he had a targa 55 and his head did seem to stick out a bit.

the 328 is atrociously tight for anyone over 6 foot tall! i passengered in a GTS one once and i could look right out over the windscreen! apart from the lack of space they are really lovely little cars though.
the most tall person friendly 'rari's i have been in though are a Testarossa and the 456, i found both were very comfortable behind the wheel.
realistically and practically, i think a 550 would be the ideal F car for me!

6'4", 35" inside leg. 105kg.
Anything older than a 355 you can forget about (unless you go classic - Daytona and Dino are doable).
The 355 is very comfy once you get the seat/steering wheel position right. But the pedals are offset to the left a lot so you need to drive legs splayed. To be honest, no more so than in most cars for people of my size.
I actually found the 550/575 worse - possibly slightly more legroom, but was looking at the header rail. Whole thing felt like it had less space than the 355.
360 on (430 will barely be any different mind) may have more room still, and I would have thought the 612 etc should be easily fine if you want such a car.
