M400 side intakes - necessary mods to fit?

They are fixed on by good screws and tigerseal. However you will need to cut the clam to enlarge the original intakes to be of any use.
Mine are sitting in a box at the factory as we speak as I am fitting a oil cooler at some point, just waiting for a few other bits to arrive.

I had intended having them painted and fitted this week, but I'm waiting for a full quote from Kerridges' bodyshop.
Although the pods are only £130 a pair, I think I may be looking at about £3-400 for painting and fitting as its a pretty full on job IIRC.
I'll need to see.
(its good to know there are a set at the factory though)

i am half way through fitting mine at the moment,took a angle grinder to tub yesterday, though i am not making the hole funtional it still has to be cut to insert the wire mesh.not difficult to do though the pods do come in raw fibberglass so do need a bit of prep work to make them perfect
