Cadwell yesterday

Just like to thank all those knob 'eads who saw fit to tear through the villages surrounding Cadwell and Skeggy over the weekend. That said, a good number behaved themselves - but they won't be the one's that get remembered by all us locals...
The RR stayed safely tucked in the garage, until my neighbours have calmed down!
The feds must have made a fortune over the weekend...
I see a 42 year old chap and his 14 year old son were both killed on the way to Skeg, after a crash involving a car - I gather the driver was arrested...
My condolances to the family. I just can't imagine how a wife/mother would deal with that.

Me too, I just don't understand the mentality. If you're going to a track day or bike event, save the fun until you get there. Us bikers have to do our own PR!
I've never seen so many unmarked cars in one day. It must have been like shooting fish in a barrel.
On the same day, a pal who owns a Bushnell radar gun (he races RC gliders - the gun is used for measuring speeds whilst dynamic soaring (take too long to explain that!!), anyway, he clocked one particular biker entering a 40 limit outside his gaff at well over 150...
And we come on here and whinge about being shut down!!!!!

I know exactly how you feel Ju.
I live on the A631 in Lincolnshire and travel it every day to get to work in Doncaster and you wouldn't believe some of the appalling riding I witness.
Along the Gainsborough to Bawtry stretch there are 2 sets of SPECS cameras and nearly every biker I see seems to think because they have no front number plate they can ignore the speed limit through these sections.
It's idiots like this that will ruin it for the rest of us!
