Good to see we have provoked some interest!

The format for the racing has yet to be decided in detail, but there will be 4 cars of the same make for the general racing, and there will be prizes for the quickest people.

We are also intending to open the track to all comers with whatever machinery they have to try and set the track record - for which there will also be a prize. So get digging those cars out of the loft and practice that finger action!!

If we get loads of interest we may have to set up different classes.

Cheers Guys

Alright guys

Looking forward to helping out staffing this.

Reckon the format will be quickest 16 times have four Semi finals and then the 4 winners race for the top prize.

Guess we have a separate prize for the fastest time with owners own car (Open class).

Get practicing and Modding those motors.

OK, the format for racing has been decided. We are intending to run 3 sessions during the weekend:

There will be general racing sessions during Saturday and Sunday, it will be £2.00 to enter a ten lap race. Four people can race at once. We will be giving prizes for the fastest laps and fastest races. There will also be a 'special' prize for the biggest most spectacular off of the weekend!

You can also bring your own cars along and try and set the lap record. If you think you have a quick car, or you are a quick driver now is the time to prove it!

The other session will run on Saturday night when the beers are flowing. There will be a couple of hours qualifying, then we will take the 16 fastest people into a set of races to find the Pistonheads Scalextric Champion. There will be prizes donated by ScalePerformance and Pistonheads.

So are you up for the Pistonheads Scalextric Challenge? Who will be the quickest?

And don't forget ALL the takings go to charity.

See you there

Nik
