I have noticed recently my car makes a squeaking noise when I turn the steering at low speeds. There are no mice anywhere near it so any thoughts? Not a new steering rack I hope more of maybe some wd40?

cheers

Sounds dumb, but it be that some of the wires (horn etc) within the steering column housing have become crossed. We had this in an Audi a few years ago & it made a horrible noise - was pretty simple to sort out though....

I take it you have checked the PAS fluid level? I checked a BMW recently and literally an egg-cup full solved the problem.
