Yes Jonny. It was this past weekend. Very beautiful and a must do for any petrolhead.

Euro 10 to gain admission!

Mr Glickenhaus was a real Gentleman. I was personally thrilled to meet a guy with so dedicated a vision for his car. I think it's the most important Ferrari of the last 30 years.

(apologies for the shorts)

Many prototypes also...including the 'new' Jag.

The old stuff just dominated the camera for the day.

Sorry to disappoint....none really do the car proper justice. I think my hand must have been shaking with nerves.

Mr Glickenhaus is taking it to Goodwood so you'll have your chance for a good eyeball then!

The P4/5 is owned by PH member napolis and its awesome. He also has a very nice Lola which I can not find the post for.

Looks like a great event. Some lovely cars on show.

Mr Glickenhaus IS indeed Napolis on PH. His car collection is extensive and includes an original Ferrari p3/4 too.

Not sure if its the same one but a BRG DB4 Zagato won the Cartier Style Et Lux at Goodwood a couple of years ago. Probably the most perfectly proportioned car I have ever seen.

I stayed at the Villa D'este a few years ago on the Ferrari Owners European trip. Fantastic place. Had a suite overlooking the lake which would usually have cost you 1,400 Euros a night.

Yep and the most impressive car of the lot. A time and era when people actually understood about style...even the Germans.

Now, only really Maserati and Alfa do style. Ferrari sure as hell dont, just crass. Porsche dont, just money. Lambo dont, just efficiency. Aston? Well, they were starting to, but as soon as they got one hand on the issue, they got sold up and we shall have to wait and see what DaveR does with the show.

I kind of know what you mean. There are of course glaring exceptions...

400GT,Miura,375MM,Dino,250SWB and arguably..the Porsche Speedster.

Is P4/5 really going to Goodwood?

Is this confirmed, be very cool if it were?
