I'll probably get a slating for this for years to come, but oh well!

I've got a fair bit of model railway I need to shift, and jsut want to take it a model shop to sell.

Can anyone give me the details of a model/model railway shop in Norfolk/North Suffolk that may want my second hand item?

Many thanks,

Darren

Yes, you'll get far more for it on eBay - a shop will only give you half what it's worth as they need to make a margin.

I did think about ebay, but I did try other avenues. Freeads and even in the PH classifieds. I sold the grand total of two items!

I have a fair bit of stuff, so ebay would take alot of time to get everything up and sold. I've checked ebay continually, and it seems the ebay side is saturated with the kind of stuff I have.

I just want to be rid of it all now, and that'll be the quickest way

If the make of railway has a fanclub, forum etc maybe you can track it down (groan) and advertise there?

I remember when I met you two years ago, you remarked about nearly getting to 11,000!

Indeedy, but the celebration was wrecked by a bored moderator who deleted the post without explanation - just because he deemed it less important than the other drivel on P&P.

It should just come through on a specified email. I have all my messages from Pistonheads, forwarded to my AOL account

Yes, as long as you entered an e-mail address for contact in your profile, PMs arrive in your normal e-mail. Much easier than some other forums.
