Hello again, does anyone have any dyno figures or real life experiences of the benefits of roller rockers? I'm just about to rebuild my motor (5 litre) and i've seen the yella terra rockers for sale , but at a considerable price difference to even steel rockers (other option). Will they warrant the extra cash or not?

Usually recommended for really wild cams where the angular movement of the rockers is enough to cause a problem with side loads on the valve stem. I can't see much justification for the expense unless you are suffering from this sort of problem. You might also find you have trouble fitting them in the standard rocker covers.

They may have a greater rocker ratio which would increase valve lift and accelleration. They will reduce friction but if they are the same ratio they probably aren't worth the extra expence. I have YT's for the chevy and they are very good quality.

I had them fitted at the time of my rebuild, can't say tell if they make a great difference, they do fit under my rocker covers (mine are the cast 'TVR' logo type)
