Well, the time had to come when I got a sensible car. And I bought one today. But can you guess what it is? I'll give you some facts :-

3 year, 36,000 mile warranty.

Mainstream manufacturer.

It's got a boot.

Some candid shots to help :-

Oh, and I've not updated my profile before you go looking hehe

I'm sure you deserve it Phil - if I'm not mistaken I saw that at Roush 10 days ago?

One day...

A big thanks must go to the good people of Ford's for making, what turned out to be a bit of a nightmare process, (not their fault) a very pleasant experience. It turns out that it's the first car Ford UK have actually sold directly to a customer!

Now, what's petrol cost a litre now? weepingweepingweeping

Great car Phil. (I am not envious at all...no not me, not at all..) and you already know your way quite well to the service center.

Just got a bit of DVLAing to do and I'll pop over! Hopefully with some leads from Roush, that shouldn't be to long a process....

Must also thank Jason360hasgone, as without him I'm sure I wouldn't be in this enviable position. I'm sure we'll turn a few heads in the upcoming months when 2 GT's come growling down the road!

The Noble's not going anywhere soon. It's so much smaller than the GT, there's some things that it'll always be better at. The only downside about having both is working out which to use at any time! Actually that's not the only problem. The other is build quality. It's really unfair on the Noble as the GT was, it seems, built regardless of cost. There's no way on Earth that Ford and it's supplier's got away with anything less than a big loss on every car. It's so well sorted. A testament to what a giant car manufacturer can do when they put their minds to it.

Ah well, global warming. That'll be me then....

Shame 10,000 Ford workers in the US and the Ford factory i work in has closed so they could make a loss on every GT tho Still one of the most beautiful cars sensible supercar money can buy.

Good time to meet up at a nice pub again I think!

I bet the Noble is in your garage right now sobbing into a rag as the Ford hurls playground jaunts and abuse at it! hehe

How long ago did you order it?

Greg
