Anyone out there with experience with their camcorder shutting down during filming? I've just come back from a track day and could not get my camcorder to record anything on track. The camcorder is fitted via a professional mount to the windscreen, I've disabled drop protection (and enabled) but as soon as the car starts to move around the track, the camocrder shuts down. Is there a vibration alarm on these camcorders? The camcorder works excellently when hand held. It's a frustrating problem I can't seem to remedy via the menu screen. Model of the camcorder is JVC Everio GZMG50EK. Any suggestions?

Friend of mine had a similar problem with a hard disk camcorder in his Elise. Only answer is to get a tape-based or solid state memory camcorder.
