The vent pipe from the swirl tank is normally routed down the swirl tank and under the exhaust, less chance of melting (and looks neater).

Did you have to cut much off the ACT induction hoses to get them to fit?

I assume that is the "Tech Line Black Satin Exhaust Paint" I was thinking of using the "Tech Line Cermakrome Exhaust Paint" but wondered about the "Requires a simple 500 Degree F bake in an oven". How important is this, as my manifolds won't fit in the oven at home (dont tell the wife that I even thought about it).

Dont worry mate, you will find some sooner or later... Or are you banking on a rack seal keeping it all at bay?

Hi all
Just a thought!! (not saying its a good one!) has anyone tried using hamerite on their exhaust manifolds? or does it just burn off?

I tried it on a FS1-E exhaust many years ago and yes, it did burn off, but just the first few inches of the header.
