Lots & lots of options & prices, I have done a few but 1st on my list for a return would be Goodwwood (nr Chichester) as it is a lovely place, fantastic track (recently re-surfaced) & would make a truely memerable event for us members.
Air field tracks are great for novices as there are lots of run off areas, Bedford Aerodrome is good venue to consider too.
Brands, Thruxton good too

whilst goodwood is good there is little to zero run off so if you're not used to a track, despite the relative ease of the place, it can be a bit daunting to some. You are right though, its fantastic, fast and not touched by FIA rules

Goodwood is great for the expirianced, not so good for those who just think that they are, like someone else said there is Zero run off, just big earth banks and tyre walls. I have sprint raced there many times. The track is in my back garden therefore get a couple of laps in anytime I please, and as such I have seen many accidents there.
A Monaro or variant will pull 150+ easily down the Lavant straight with a 90 right at the end with kitty litter on the left to catch the understeer merchants, and once in there you are on your roof !!!!
If you just want to have fun and not wreck the car then try somewhere like Abingdon, plenty of run off, and plenty of tarmac for the oversteer. I am there this Friday with the Monaro, but hasten to add not on the track with her, as I will be driving my trackday car, something very different.
Cost for the whole day at Abingdon is about £110 all in, and that is with an "open pit lane". MSE run the events there and if you want to know more I will post it up for you. Oh dba is 100, so you will need cans for the exhusts. Oh and cans and cans of petrol.

MSE = excellent, superb set up and the lads are very friendly! How you getting your track car there? Do you have a bar on the Ro? The problem I find with airfield days is the cones, even them little ones can rip a wing out! Hullavington is another good one - am over Wantage way on Friday so if I get time might pop over so say hi, I'd like to get the dB tested as I'd love to get on Thruxton...

My son said he will drive it there and back, just so long as he gets track time, well as it happens I need to leave there at lunch time and head off up into the lakes for the weekend, so all the time dear old dad's paying (get my drift, no pun intended)it works well for me.
No bar on the back yet, and at the moment I can't see myself wanting to do it anyway, I have a big old pug that tows the transporter, and it can stay that way.
Cones, what bloody cones? ha ha ha, two laps and I have them all displaced anyway.
Like you when I am there I will get her tested, Well, I will be easy to spot as I am sure that there won't be another ro there, so will be pleased to say hello.
Laurence
Slack I wont be there till gone 2 as the car is in for a service at 11 over in Wantage
As for the cones, always let someone else displace them! One Integra really did some damage even with them being so small...
Do you ever really pay attention to the strick 10mph limit on the taxi way? I know I don't when leaving

our track days are on airfields (oxford and wilts areas) but have strict 100db noise levels.
If you need unlimited days, these are few and far between. Check with easytrack and the many others.
Airfield days are good. Lots of space and its a cheaper day out.
