tomtom xl vs Garmin

Noticed Tomtom are releasing an updated 1, just wondering if anyone thought it would be priudent to wait a week or two for one, or just go for a 660 for 70-80 pounds more. i dont like gadgets, like to be able to set waypoints and need good camera locator as well as european mapping. blue/mps/jpeg stuff not wanted. thanks for any input/speculation
