Power steering 350i

Hi,

my 350i losts oil out of the power steering pump. Does anyone now the part number, price etc.

I think there are two different pumps - best to get a picture..

I don´t know how to send a picture in the forum. But the pump has a sticker with:

Hobourn Eaton Ltd
HE 26179/JEDC?/10

The diameter of the pump is apprx. 95 mm, the diameter of the filler neck is apprx. 55 mm, the pump is black with a blue cap.

Anybody an idea?

90% certain the later pumps are Rover SD1. Mine certainly looks identical to a SD1 but I have never confirmed 100%. The rack is Toyoto Supra.
Ebay or the various SD1 breakers.

One with a remote reservoir and one integral (later)

Why not do a google search on 'power steering' - I just found loads of places .. I'm sure they car either recon or find the right pump for you.

The rack is not a Toyota Supra rack but a rack modded by a company that had Supra in its name hence the confusion.

I just saw the piccie - it does look v. similar. I'll check the one in the barn to make sure.
