Oswestry, a place near wales!

I am off to Oswestry on 2 May, anyone know the town? Can you recomend a nice little pub with B+B and with off road parking for the wedge? Only there for one night.

Wynstay Hotel rings a bell. Not sure of the rates but sure we parked around the back next to a bowling green??

But, not far from there is the Golden Pheasant

Just up the road at Llangollen (A542) is the Horseshoe pass .. well worth the short drive !
