Need two of these today (Thursday) or Friday morning at the latest.

M18 x 1.5 halfnut (2)

Anyone who can point me in the right direction or even better has two I can pick up asap I'd be very grateful.
Due to drive up to the Midlands on Friday night & I could do with my suspension not breaking (again).

I've tried many of the engineering companies in Cambs but no luck. It's not exactly a standard size.

Hannah.

Thats the guys !! I was racking my brains for the name of this company. I used to deal with them a few years ago when a did a small amount of steel fabrication as well as drawing.

Glad you got sorted Hannah.

Well! Drove all the sodding way to sodding Brandon but did they have the parts? NO.

Despite calling twice and being assured that they had 14 left too!

So back to square one.

Thats bad news Hannah. Don't these 'monkeys' have half a brain to check the shelves before they send people on a wild goose chase.

I have just rung a local bolt supplier near me and its not looking good I,m afraid. He discribes them as like rocking horse sh*t, and didn't think you would find one on the shelf anywhere. Sorry.

Same here!

I just rang my usual supplier (Tolway fixings). They just laughed.....

Full nuts not a problem, half nuts = special order.

Sorry

Thanks for the compliment re: Velocity.

Yes, the toyota engine is a cracker! Half way house between a car and motorbike engine, revs for ever. With vvti and 20v it's quite a clever bit of kit. I have an OMEX ecu running it.

That's great, we're just discussing what our next move is! hehe Probably pop past tomorrow AM to pick some up or get some from Westfield Sportscars on Saturday on our way through (taking it carefully!) to Shropshire.
