Ford Escort Tennis what to do with it.

We have a 89/G ford escort tennis. my mother first bought the car direct from ford when it was nine months old, She stop using it about a year ago and has not moved since. the car has very low miles around 60 or 70k with full history, The car is totaly standard and in superb condition even the roof is good. the seats are perfect. I am thinking of puting this car away for a good few years. Will it be worth anything as it was a limited edition i think.

any thoughts would be welcomed.

I had the pleasure(??) of selling these cars new in 89, basically a white cab with electric roof, leather and green badges, they where originally going to be called "Wimbledon"
Cabriolet sales where dwindling, so Ford brought out limited additions every few months unfortunately.
In years to come any sporty Ford will be reasonably collectable, but IMO the two Cabriolets that will be really sort after are the late 85 RS body kitted all white mk3, and the Pacifica Blue RS Turbo look-a-like from 1990.
