Environmental Oil Disposal.

Had an oil service yesterday on the 320d and BMW kindly removed 60 quid from my pocket JUST for 'environmental oil disposal'.

Seems steep. Well actually it seems like daylight robbery given there are companies out there who will pick up and take the oil away for cleaning and resale for nowt.. Next time I'm going to ask for the oil back.

Anybody else been charged this much?

Sounds very steep for disposal..The synthetic oil is £60 which makes an oil service around the £130 mark...what did you pay?
we dont charge for the disposal,this is soaked up in the overheads

Whoops I got it wrong. The bill was laid out very badly my wife re-interpreted as pretty much what you said. Sorry!
